Welcome to Allan McGregor & Associates (AMA). We specialise in recruiting and retaining the best managers in Europe.

With over 15 years’ experience, we have an impressive list of clients ranging in size, complexity, market sector and geographical location. Most of our business comes through recommendation and / or referral and we pride ourselves on the longevity of our relationships. We are based from offices in Oxfordshire and Somerset but travel extensively to wherever our clients are.

Our two main interrelated aims are:

Recruitment:

Training & Development:

We believe that Training & Development should be mutually advantageous to both the organisation and the individual. We can help you to identify your specific Training & Development needs and then plan, organise and develop ways of addressing these needs, using a mixture of well established, well received and innovative techniques.

Team Development:

We believe that for a team to be strong and effective, 4 main criteria have to be met. Team members need to have:

Coaching:

We believe that, for certain individuals, a coaching approach is a very effective way of maximising potential. Once confidentiality has been assured, this personalised approach helps the individual to articulate aspirations, to assess his / her own performance, to identify specific areas for improvement / development, to develop relevant strategies and to agree a plan of action. In our experience, a few hours or a few sessions with a coach can produce remarkable clarity of thought and can be a very cost effective way of both an individual’s and a company’s performance. It is important to us that the individual being coached knows that we still welcome contact with him / her after the formal coaching sessions have finished.
